The name of the map is not shown in the dialog but if you hit install it should work. MapSource can then be used to send maps to either your Astro handheld or to a datacard. Double click the file and Mapmanager should show up with a box where you hit INSTALL. The already installed files transferred over should have an extension of GMAP. This CD is ideal for hikers, campers and outdoor enthusiasts of all kind. I have the Topo US 24k DVD maps installed. It has a bright, easy-to-read 5.5 display and features custom truck routing plus built-in PrePass notifications of upcoming weigh stations/bypass decisions, truck-friendly parking and load-to-dock guidance. Would I be better off with the National Geographic series of topo maps for GPS receivers Yes, 100 bucks per state is expensive, but 90+ of my mapping is in the state of Idaho anyway.
